Taco Soup
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (16 ounce) can pinto or chili beans
- 1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 envelope dry taco seasoning mix
- 4 ounces diced green chiles
- Garnishes
Instructions
- Brown meat and onion. Add beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, taco seasoning and chiles. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with any or all of the following: sliced avocado, shredded Cheddar cheese, sliced scallion, sliced black olives, corn chips and sour cream.
