Ingredients

  • 1 pound stew meat
  • 1/2 package dry onion soup mix
  • 3/4 pound mushrooms, sliced (fresh or canned)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sauterne wine

Instructions

  1. Do not brown meat. Place in casserole; add all other ingredients. Mix well. Do not salt and pepper.
  2. Cover and bake at 300 degrees F for 3 hours or until tender.
