Garlic Soup
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 slices French bread, crusts removed
- 4 cups chicken broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Sauté garlic cloves and bread in oil over medium heat until they are just browned (do not let them burn). Remove from heat
- Remove the bread, cut into 1 inch squares, and return the cubes to the pan.
- Add chicken broth, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the bread has disintegrated and mixed well into the broth.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
