Mesquite Bean Cakes
Ingredients
- 6 cups ripe, dried mesquite beans
- Water
Instructions
- Grind mesquite beans with a mortar and pestle until they reach a flour-like consistency.
- Add enough water to achieve a stiff dough.
- Pat the dough flat, cut it into squares, and dry the squares in the sun.
- Serve with milk or coffee.
