Hot Mexican Cider

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan combine the cider, the lemon juice, and the salt, bring the mixture to a simmer, and skim it.
  2. Add the tequila and the liqueur and heat the mixture over moderate heat, stirring until it is hot.
  3. Divide the mixture among 8 heated mugs and garnish each drink with 1 of the lemon slices.

Yield: 8 drinks
