Chiltepin House Sauce (Salsa Casera)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chiltepins
  • 8 to 10 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano
  • 1 teaspoon coriander seed
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup cider vinegar


Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree on high speed for about 4 minutes.
  2. Refrigerate for 24 hours to allow the flavors to blend.

Because it is so hot, this will last for years in the refrigerator!
