Pseudo Menudo

Ingredients

• 2 pounds stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
• 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
• 1 (15 ounce) can tomatoes
• 2 or 3 cups water
• 1 cup chopped green chiles
• 2 (15 ounce) cans hominy
• Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Brown meat in a Dutch oven.
2. Add remaining ingredients and boil gently for 3 or 4 hours, until meat is tender.
