Vanilla Cream Syrup



  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh fruit, diced, or fresh berries


  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup and cream in a 1-quart pan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for 2 minutes or until syrup thickens slightly.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and fruit.
  3. Serve over pancakes or waffles.
