Vanilla Cream Syrup
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup fresh fruit, diced, or fresh berries
- Combine sugar, corn syrup and cream in a 1-quart pan. Cook, stirring
constantly, over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Simmer for
2 minutes or until syrup thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla extract and fruit.
- Serve over pancakes or waffles.
