Walnut Praline Topping

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, walnuts, brown sugar and butter; press firmly on bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
  3. In large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
  4. Gradually beat in EAGLE BRAND until smooth.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
  6. Pour into prepared pan.
  7. Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until center is set.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Top with Walnut Praline Topping. Chill.
  10. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.
  11. For Walnut Praline Topping: In heavy saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine dark brown sugar and whipping cream. Cook and stir until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 5 minutes or until thickened.
  12. Remove from heat; stir in 1 toasted walnuts.
  13. Spoon evenly over cheesecake.
