Yam-Apple Bake

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, sliced
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 (17 ounce) cans yams, drained
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Toss apples and nuts with sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Alternate layers of apples and yams.
  3. Dot with butter.
  4. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes.
  5. Top with marshmallows.
  6. Broil until marshmallows are lightly browned.
