Sesame Tofu




  • 2 pounds firm tofu
  • 1 cup sesame seed, ground in blender
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour


  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar


  1. Cut tofu into 3/4-inch cubes or 1/4-inch thick slices and marinate for 2 hours in Marinade mixture.
  2. Roll tofu in a mixture of sesame seed and flour.
  3. Brown in oil and serve hot with rice.
