Roasted Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 20 to 30 chicken wings
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon five-spice powder
  • 3/4 cup butter, for basting

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken wings at joints. Discard tips.
  2. Combine all ingredients except butter.
  3. Marinate chicken for 8 to 24 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Roast wings uncovered at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours, basting with butter.
