Peanut Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 1/2 ounce) can salted peanuts
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Save approximately 48 peanuts for garnish.
  2. Place remaining peanuts in blender, and grind finely.
  3. In bowl, measure butter, confectioners' sugar, flour and vanilla extract; add ground peanuts.
  4. With hands, knead until blended. Shape into dime-size balls.
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Press peanut in each top for garnish.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes, until lightly browned.
