Bohemian Potato Dumplings



  • 6 medium cooked and well mashed potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs (do not beat)
  • 1/3 cup Cream of Wheat
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour


  1. Mix potatoes, salt, eggs and Cream of Wheat thoroughly.
  2. Add milk and sifted flour.
  3. Mix all ingredients well.
  4. Knead on floured board.
  5. Shape into oblong rolls.
  6. Drop into boiling salted water. Boil for 20 to 25 minutes.
