(Ham and Noodle Casserole — Austria)

  • 1 (8 ounce) package egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 pound cooked ham, ground
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, to taste
  • Freshly-ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked noodles, ground ham, cottage cheese, sour cream, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir gently until well mixed.
  2. Spoon noodle mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes, or until heated through.
