Fried Rags
Ingredients
- 1 quart vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon shortening
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Mix flour, shortening and eggs; roll dough out very thin; cut into strips and tie into bow knots; fry in hot oil.
- Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
