Jewish Sweet Bread



  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans


  1. Mix sugar and eggs. Add flour, vanilla extract and pecans.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  3. If you like, once it is finished, you may drizzle a light glace, or just thin down some store bought vanilla frosting which I always keep in the house...also works good.
