This is a classic with Turkish Jews. It is a bit sticky, but very delicious.



  1. Cook noodles in slightly salted water until tender, then drain thoroughly.
  2. Pack into a shallow oblong pan and, when cold and caked, turn out and cut into squares.
  3. Arrange on a well-greased baking sheet and cover each slice with nuts.
  4. Pour honey over each piece and bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
  5. Serve with a sprinkling of nuts on each and drizzle more honey over the nuts.
