  • 3 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/3 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup peanuts


  1. Blend brown sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan; boil until it forms a soft ball in cold water.
  2. Beat and add peanuts.
  3. Pour immediately into a buttered pan, then cut into squares.
