Labanee (Yogurt Cheese)

Serve this with Pocket Bread.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Line a strainer with double thickness cheesecloth. Place strainer over bowl.
  2. Mix yogurt and salt; pour into strainer.
  3. Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours.
  4. Unmold onto plate.
  5. Garnish with snipped parsley and Moroccan Herbed Olives.
