Peanut Milk Candy (Pastillas de Mani)


  • 1 cup freshly ground unsalted peanuts
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar


  1. Combine all ingredients and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until a sold mass is formed.
  2. Transfer to a sugared board and spread the mixture with a rolling pin into a rectangular shape 1/2 inch high.
  3. Cut into 1/2 x 2-inch-long pieces.
  4. Wrap individually in tissue paper if desired.
