Pork and Chicken Adobo
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pieces bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 to 2 pound chicken, cut up
- 1 pound pork, cut into 1 x 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- In saucepan, combine all ingredients, except water.
- Marinate chicken and pork in the mixture for 20 minutes.
- Add water and let it simmer, until tender (about 25 minutes).
- Strain sauce.
- Brown meat.
- Return to saucepan, simmer until sauce thickens.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings
