Swedish Pound Cake
1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 stick butter
Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Blend well.
Add remaining ingredients, and pour into the prepared Bundt pan.
Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees F.
Pour glaze over hot cake, and cool thoroughly in pan.
Swedish Pound Cake Glaze: Boil sugar and water for 3 minutes.
Add almond extract and butter. Blend well.
