Philly 50th Anniversary Double Chocolate Layer Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 squares Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted, slightly cooled
  • 1 (9 inch) chocolate flavor crumb crust

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract with a mixer on medium speed until blended.
  2. Add eggs; mix until blended.
  3. Stir melted chocolate into 1 cup of the batter.
  4. Pour chocolate batter into crust.
  5. Top with plain batter.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes or until center is almost set.
  7. Cool.
  8. Refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.
