Barbecue Oysters, Cajun Style
Prep: 5 min | Cook: 5 min | Yield: 24 oysters
- 2 dozen medium oysters, drained well
- 1/4 cup chili powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon hickory smoke flavored salt
- Mix all dry ingredients and coat oysters.
- Deep fry in hot oil for 4 to 5 minutes.
