Short Ribs, Bayou Style
Ingredients
- 3 pounds short ribs
- All-purpose flour
- 2 bay leaves
- 8 whole cloves
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped celery leaves
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1/2 lemon, sliced
Instructions
- Sprinkle meat with flour. Brown.
- Pour off fat. Add 1 cup water and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for about 3 hours.
