Turkey Creole Lasagna

Prep: 15 min | Yield: 5 servings

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 3/4 cups hot water
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (5.5 ounce) box Hamburger Helper™ Italian Lasagna
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup frozen green beans
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning*

Instructions

  1. In a 10 inch skillet, cook turkey over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked; drain.
  2. Stir in hot water, milk, uncooked pasta and sauce mix (from Hamburger Helper box), beans and Creole seasoning. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat; uncover (sauce will thicken as it stands).
  5. Stir before serving.

Notes

* If you would prefer to use your own spices instead of Creole seasoning, we suggest a mix of salt, red pepper, black pepper, chili powder and garlic.
