Mississippi Roast "Birria" Tacos
Make Birria Tacos from Mississippi Roast beef!
Ingredients
- Mississippi Roast
- Corn tortillas
- Mozzarella cheese or cheese of choice
Instructions
- Follow the Mississippi Roast instructions to cook in the slow cooker then shred the beef after the 8 hours.
- Dip both sides of a corn tortilla into the broth from the meat.
- Place tortilla in a frying pan over medium heat, and add shredded meat to half.
- Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese (or cheese desired) over the meat and fold and flip until golden brown.
- The broth on the tortillas acts as the “oil” so there is no need to add anything else to the pan.
- Serve with desired toppings, such as sour cream, sliced avocado, diced red onion, diced tomato, etc. Garnish with pepperoncini from the roast, if desired.
