Ingredients

  • 12 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 9 cups self-rising yellow cornmeal
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Grease two 12 x 20 x 2-inch pans and set in the oven to heat.
  3. In a very large bowl combine all the ingredients in the order given and pour into the hot pans.
  4. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until light brown.
