Chocolate-Almond Fruit Cake



  1. Soak fruits in juice overnight.
  2. Beat eggs until foamy.
  3. Add sugar gradually.
  4. Add vanilla extract.
  5. Beat in sifted dry ingredients.
  6. Drain fruits; add to egg mixture.
  7. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips.
  8. Pour into prepared 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
  9. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour and 50 minutes to 2 hours.
