Apricot Brandy Balls

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate in top of double boiler over hot, not boiling water.
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in brandy and corn syrup.
  4. Combine bran cereal, apricots and 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar in large bowl.
  5. Add chocolate mixture; stir together.
  6. Let stand for 30 minutes.
  7. Form into 1/2-inch balls.
  8. Roll in cocoa powder.
  9. Place in a covered container.
  10. Let stand several days for flavor to mellow.
