Piñon Brittle


  • 1 cup piñon nuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups granulated sugar


  1. Melt sugar over low heat stirring constantly until it becomes thin syrup.
  2. Mix in shelled nuts and pour a thin sheet into a large buttered cookie sheet.
  3. When candy is cold and hard, break into pieces.
