8 ounces granulated sugar
1 ounce water
1/2 teaspoon sesame paste
1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
Vegetable oil, as needed
Oil a baking sheet.
In a small saucepan, cook the sugar and water until caramel-colored.
Whip in sesame paste.
Pour onto prepared baking sheet.
Sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly over the caramel. Allow to cool.
When cooled, break brittle into pieces.
Cover and store in a cool, dry place.
Yield: 1/2 pound
