- 8 ounces granulated sugar
- 1 ounce water
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame paste
- 1/2 cup toasted sesame seeds
- Vegetable oil, as needed
- Oil a baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, cook the sugar and water until caramel-colored.
- Whip in sesame paste.
- Pour onto prepared baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly over the caramel. Allow to cool.
- When cooled, break brittle into pieces.
- Cover and store in a cool, dry place.
