Cream butter with white sugar and 1/2 cup of the brown sugar. Add 2 egg yolks,
flour, vanilla extract and a dash of salt. Mix well. Pat evenly on bottom of buttered
and floured 16 x 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with chocolate chips.
Beat 4 egg whites until stiff enough to hold a peak. Slowly beat in the remaining
brown sugar. When glossy and smooth, spread over chips. Bake 30 to 35 minutes in
oven preset to 350 degrees F.
