Seamark Seafood Chef Bubba's Deviled Crabs
Ingredients
- 1 pound regular or backfin crabmeat, remove shells
- 2 tablespoons minced onions
- 2 tablespoons minced celery
- 1 tablespoon minced green pepper
- 3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 4 cups fresh bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 16 to 18 natural crab or aluminum shells
Instructions
- Combine and mix all ingredients well. Spoon into shells, heaping up in the center.
- Bake in preheated 400 degrees F oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown on top.
Notes
If you use natural shells, wash them in 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water before using.
