Tipsy Raisin Drops



  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup raisins, soaked in rum


  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
  3. Stir in the flour and well drained raisins.
  4. Drop batter by rounded teaspoons onto cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
