Horseradish Sauce for Sandwiches

This sauce is quick and easy to put together, and pairs well with roast beef, corned beef, or pastrami. It can be put to use as a quick dip for chips or vegetables, too.

Horseradish Sauce for Sandwiches

Hands-on: 5 to 8 min | Yield: 8 servings, about 2 heaping tablespoons each

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients, cover, and refrigerate until needed.

Notes

Sauce will stay good in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Low-fat or nonfat sour cream (even Greek yogurt) are perfectly fine to use in this recipe.

If you use nonfat sour cream, calories drop to 37, and Weight Watchers PointsPlus® equals 1.
