How to Measure Flour
Guaranteed baking success starts with measuring flour the RIGHT way. A
properly measured cup of flour weighs 4 1/4 ounces.
Please follow the steps below when measuring flour by volume.
- Fluff up the flour.
- Sprinkle the flour into a dry-cup measure (the one that measures
exactly 1 cup, 1/4 cup, etc. at the top).
- Scrape off the excess with a straight edge, such as a table knife.
