Bedrock Easter Basket

Bedrock Easter Basket

Yield: 24 servings

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) package JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows (6 cups)
  • 1 (13 ounce) package POST Fruity PEBBLES Cereal (about 8 1/2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Line 2 1/2 to 3 quart bowl with foil, extending foil about 2 inches beyond edge of bowl. Lightly grease foil; set aside.
  2. Place butter in 4 quart microwaveable bowl sprayed with cooking spray. Microwave on HIGH for 45 seconds or until butter is melted.
  3. Add marshmallows; stir to coat. Microwave for 1 1/2 minutes or until marshmallows are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring after 45 seconds.
  4. Microwave for an additional 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Add cereal; mix well.
  5. Place cereal mixture in foil-lined bowl; press firmly onto bottom and up side of bowl to form thick shell.
  6. Let stand in cool dry place at least 4 hours or overnight until firm.
  7. Remove cereal shell from bowl, using foil handles. Carefully peel off foil. Fill shell as desired.

Notes

This recipe is intended for use with adult supervision.

For easy stirring of cereal mixture, spray wooden spoon with cooking spray before using.
