Bonci's Bites
(Peanut Butter Energy Bites)

Bonci's Bites recipe

Yield: 32 bites; 2 per serving


  • 2 cups mixed chopped prunes and dried cherries
  • 1 1/2 cups dry oats
  • 2 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter powder
  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 to 2/3 cup honey, depending upon desired level of sweetness


  1. In a large bowl stir together peanut butter and honey until well mixed.
  2. Add peanut powder, cocoa, dried fruit and the cereal and mix well, using your hands to mix well. Wearing gloves makes this a lot easier!
  3. Roll into quarter size balls.
  4. Put into mini muffin cups or on a tray.
  5. Refrigerate or freeze briefly to set.
