Butter Nut Balls Mix in a Jar

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 1/2 cups pecans, finely cut

Instructions

1. Layer the ingredients in a 1 quart jar.
2. Attach the following instructions on a gift tag:

Butter Nut Balls

Cream 1 cup of butter thoroughly. Add contents of jar and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. Roll into walnut size balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 35 minutes at 300 degrees F. Immediately roll in confectioners' sugar, and let cool on wax paper.
