Homemade Boursin Cheese (Vegan)
By making a vegan version of this recipe, those preferring a plant-based diet will be able to enjoy this flavorful cheese too!
Yield: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 8 ounces non-dairy buttery spread, softened (I use Earth Balance Original)
- 2 (8 ounce) containers non-dairy cream cheese alternative, softened (I use Tofutti's Better Than Cream Cheese)
- 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor, then blend or process until smooth.
- Spoon mixture into a small serving bowl and chill overnight.
- Serve at room temperature.
