Caramel Pie
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 (8 inch) baked pie shell
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
Instructions
- Cream butter, flour and brown sugar.
- Beat egg with milk and add to creamed mixture. Cook in double boiler until thick. Cool.
- Fill baked pie shell with mixture.
- Top with whipped cream.
