Freezer Pie Dough
- 5 1/2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 cups shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Cut shortening into flour mixed with salt.
- In measuring cup, break egg; add vinegar and fill cup to top with cold water. Hold cup over bowl with flour mixture.
- Add the baking soda; stir and mix, then pour into flour. Mix with fork.
- Divide into 6 patties.
- Put into freezer bags and freeze.
