Candy Apple Pie

Ingredients

Crust

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup butter

Apple Filling

  • 5 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons butter

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Topping

  • 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

Crust

  1. Mix together, press into the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan.
  2. Bake for 16 minutes in preheated 375 degrees F oven.

Apple Filling

  1. Put into saucepan; mix and cook for 10 to 15 minutes until well blended. Pour into crust.

Cream Cheese Filling

  1. Mix well and put on apple mixture.
  2. Bake 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
