Mother Goose Popcorn
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Dash of salt
- 2-3 drops food coloring
- Mix ingredients to soft ball stage (225 degrees F) on candy thermometer (234
degrees F at sea level).
- Pour over one batch of popcorn (about 8-10 cups); mix quickly
If you overcook, it will have a more gritty sugar texture.
