Cabbage Sloppy Joes
Yield: 6 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in large skillet with onion, bell pepper and cabbage.
- When thoroughly browned, added remaining ingredients.
- Simmer over medium low heat for 10 minutes.
