Bloomfield School Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups oatmeal
- On burner, cream sugar, cocoa, milk and butter together; let
boil hard 3 to 4 minutes.
- Remove from stove; blend in peanut
butter and oatmeal to the mixture. (Slowly add oatmeal; don't
allow mixture to get too dry.)
- Form into desired size by dropping
with a spoon onto buttered cookie sheet; let cool.
Makes a large cookie sheet full.
