High School Meat Loaf

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound pork sausage
  • 2 cups dry bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Place in loaf pan.
  3. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees F.
  4. If desired: Remove loaf from oven 15 minutes early, cover loaf with ketchup, and continue baking.
