Prattsburg School's Apple Crisp (1968)



  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 2/3 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoons water


  1. Pare and slice apples into a square greased pan (3/4 full).
  2. Add lemon juice and water over apples.
  3. Mix together dry ingredients; cut in butter.
  4. Sprinkle over apples.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F until apples are tender, approximately 30 minutes.
