Prattsburg School's Apple Crisp (1968)
1/3 cup rolled oats
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup flour
2/3 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 teaspoons water
Pare and slice apples into a square greased pan (3/4 full).
Add lemon juice and water over apples.
Mix together dry ingredients; cut in butter.
Sprinkle over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees F until apples are tender, approximately 30 minutes.
